Media Programming
The Applied Learning Technologies Institute (alt^I) produces, and supports high quality and relevant digital media that furthers the learning, research, and public service goals of Arizona State University.
Our programming efforts center on use-inspired real-world production and research applying new and emerging media via relevant interdisciplinary partnerships throughout the university, other government agencies, and within the local and global community. Active engagement of alt^I in implementing technologies, tools, and techniques is critical toward the success of fostering and supporting the integration of new media and expanding the bounds of new knowledge creation and higher education.
alt^I builds on the strong heritage of media production and research that has been established in recent decades at ASU across multiple departments, units, and colleges, and focuses on leveraging the strengths and opportunities realized through the merging and reorganization of previously non-integrated units. The future and success relies on the synergistic operation and support of the entire Applied Learning Technologies Institute, and the support, cross-function, and integration of each of its departments.
