3 Steps to Podcasting using
ASU on iTunes U

This is all you need to know to get started with publishing your own podcast using

ASU on iTunes U.

The basic steps to creating a simple ASU on iTunes U podcast:

• STEP 1

  Request your ASU on iTunes U Course/Channel using the Course Enrollment Manager (CEM)

  (my.asu.edu/courserequest)

  Based on information provided in this request, your ASU on iTunes U Course/Channel will be created as quickly as possible. Links for accessing and editing your ASU on iTunes U Course/Channel, along with other additional information will be sent to you by email.

• STEP 2

  Record your podcast using any number of methods (audio or video) based on your preference and subject matter requirements with suitable equipment that meets your needs.

  Here is a list of suggested equipment suitable for a variety of educational podcast applications. Also available as a PDF for Download

• STEP 3

  Publish your podcast to ASU on iTunes U using your ASURITE ID, iTunes, and the simple web tools and links provided to you when you registered your ASU on iTunes U Course/Channel.
