IDEAL, Arizona’s eLearning Platform

IDEAL (Integrated Data to Enhance Arizona Learning) is a comprehensive learning platform designed to provide educational stakeholders with a rich library of professional and curriculum resources, collaboration tools for immediate access to peers, professional development courses, and just in time learning resources.

Developed as a partnership between the Arizona Department of Education and the Applied Learning Technologies Institute at Arizona State University IDEAL offers:

  • equitable access to resources for all educational stakeholders
  • an open environment for innovation, and
  • space for collaboration between all educational stakeholders.

The goal of IDEAL is to improve academic performance and prepare students for success in the 21st century.

    Application of e-learning in developing countries such as Indonesia faces major challenges, including the availability of internet connections in all parts of Indonesia. I believe that Indonesia will successfully implement elearning in the future. What’s your advice?

    Hey I think any type of elearning is good to implement for all alumni's to attend school in the comfort of their own home. Even some adults are able to go back to school and not worry about losing their job not spending time with their family.

    I think IDEAL is great that ASU is implementing and integrating this. As an owner of a Web Design Company I always support learning more and never receiving too much knowledge. We're all looking to improve our education somehow.

    E-Learning is so much more interesting than classroom training and has several benefits over classroom based training. Now a days lots of universities provide e learning along side classroom training.
